As wedding planners, we tell our clients that a wedding theme is not just about the decor; it is something that helps set the celebration's tone, mood, atmosphere, and overall aesthetics. We recently collaborated with a couple with a stunning vision for their Sangeet: the Le Boudoir Rouge theme. After several detailed discussions, we brought their vision to life with an immersive 3D design. Perfecting every element took us six days, but the final setup left everyone in awe when it was revealed.
Here is how we did it and how you can note if you wish to plan this for your wedding.
Sangeet Night is one of the most glamorous, fun, and eventful wedding functions. Filled with music, dance performances, and unlimited fun, it has to be planned meticulously, taking care of all the little details.
Recently, when we were planning a sangeet night for a lovely couple, we decided to discuss their vision. After a detailed discussion, we learned that they have something extraordinary in mind: a Le Boudoir Rogue theme sangeet. Sounds interesting, right?
Le Boudoir Rogue blends the meanings of boudoir and rouge, evoking a sense of luxury, sensuality, and elegance, creating an intimate yet grand atmosphere. It is a French theme with dedicated colour palettes, decor elements, costumes, floral arrangements, etc.
After our final discussion with the couple, we created a live 3D theme using AutoCAD and 3D models. The theme had all the tiny details, along with descriptions of other elements like decor, venue, costumes, etc. The couple liked the design and wanted to proceed with it the exact way we all planned and discussed.

1. Sangeet Venue
The first step in planning any event theme is to find a perfect venue. To truly capture the essence of a boudoir, we found a venue that feels intimate and glamorous. We designed the space with a hint of vintage, elegance, and modern luxury, offering a cosy environment with those intimate touches.
We hosted this sangeet function at the Fairmont Hotel Jaipur, in their event space, which mirrored our 3D design. The venue had a grand, sophisticated setting with ample space, perfect for our sangeet theme.
2. Color Palate
The foundation of planning one of the best sangeet themes for a wedding is deciding on a palette that exudes bold romance and luxury. For the colour palate, the dominant hue is deep red, symbolising passion. To complement the red and add some depth, we used black, some gold to highlight, and blush tones to balance the overall colour palette.
The overall setup also included a touch of greenery, like plants and leaves, in the floral arrangements to add some colour to the bold colours like red and black. The combination of red, black, gold, beige, and some green helped us deliver an upscale and elegant celebration.
3. Lighting
We wanted to create a moody, romantic atmosphere with a low, warm lighting setup. To evoke a sensual and romantic ambience, we used many vintage-style chandeliers, candlelights with different types of shades, and dim uplights. If you plan a wedding sangeet theme, ensure the colour palette matches the lighting choices.
Refer to the image above. The chandeliers are the main character here; the dim yellow lights, along with the side lights, lighten up the entire entrance exactly the way needed. These dim lights, especially the uplights, add drama to the red hues of the decor.
4. Tablescapes and Seating Arrangements
The next element in setting up this sangeet theme could be appropriate seating arrangements. You can incorporate plush velvet sofas, couches, tufted armchairs, satin curtains, and drapes to set the tone of the event and ensure utmost comfort. Arrange the seating in intimate, long clusters for a cosy, luxury dining feel, allowing space for other activities like performances.
For Le Boudoir Rogue sangeet night, we set up long wooden tables with mirror tops. The tables had centrepieces of red flowers in ceramic and glass vases, candles, and black chairs with gold accents.
5. A Bar Setup With The Finest Cocktails
We set up a vintage-style bar with an elaborate and elegant design for our clients. The bar was decorated with different elements, such as a red velvet curtain, a floral carpet, several crystal chandeliers, etc. It also had different levels of shelves to store the signature beverages and serve the guests.
6. Stage Setup
Setting up a stage for your sangeet night is an essential planning step that requires extra effort and energy. A sangeet night is filled with dance performances, and the stage has to be perfect, one that matches the theme and mood of the event.
In the red-carpeted ballroom, we set up a themed stage framed by ornate red-and-gold trim. It was spacious and well-lit, with big LED screens at the back to provide a gorgeous background for all the performances.
7. Bride and Groom Costumes
A wedding is incomplete without a bride and groom’s costume that complements the theme. For a Le Boudoir Rogue sangeet night, the couple can wear outfits to match the sensual and opulent vibe of the celebration.
Our clients, the lovely couple, wore gorgeous outfits at their sangeet. The bride wore a golden gown with intricate sequin work for the shimmer, loose curl hairstyle, and a glam makeup look. On the other hand, the groom wore a black jacket-style sherwani with hints of gold on the jacket. Both of them complimented each other and truly stood out as the bride and groom in the event.
8. The Grand Couple Entry
A glamorous sangeet night deserves a dramatic entry; just like those in fairytales. There are different ways you can plan your entry like a candle lit path, balloon filled entry, a vintage car entry, etc. No matter what type of entry you choose for you wedding function, it has to align with the theme.
For the sangeet night, our couple chose to enter in full glam and style in a classic horse-drawn vintage carriage. It had ornate detailingselegant black with golden accents. We laid down a red velvet carpet on the ground, sparkled some bubbles while their was music playing in the background.
9. Impressive Corners
Now, there are a few spaces at the venue that add beauty to the event with its concept and decor, like a photobooth, a aesthetic pathway, a beautiful corner, etc. You can talk to our wedding planners and plan a similar area that will surprise your guests and make them click a lot of pictures.
For example, look at this narrow pathway, specially designed to take the decor aesthetcis to the next level. The use of green velvet fabric on the walls along with the red velvet carpet on the floor gives a royal edge to the decor. The incorporation of golden masks on the walls along with off-white and golden uplights is adding the balance to the dark shades of green and red.
Another corner that we created for the Le Boudoir Rogue sangeet night was this one. With deep red velvet curtains at the side, red velvet carpet on the floor, two grand chandeliers at the top, with black rustic vases and stones completed with candles by the side. This became a perfect, instagrammable corner and a lot of guests took countless photos here.
This is not it. The event was a big success and there are various other elements that are difficult to discuss them all here. However, this was all possible because of the clear ideation from the couple, the hard work of our team and everything and everyone that made this dream a reality.
