Jagmandir

In 1624, the Mughal prince Khurram sought refuge in the then incomplete palace, staying inside a bluestone domed pavilion - Gol Mahal – with gemstone-studded walls and a courtyard blooming with white and black lilies. It inspired his vision for the Taj Mahal, after he ascended the throne as Emperor Shahjahan.
